Currently, demand is still extremely high. Our inventory dropped month over month for the first time in five months. Most of our sellers are still experiencing multiple offers. It’s been the same situation all year—people are bidding up and paying over appraised values.

To put things simply: yes, this is a good time to sell your home. Many people think that because it’s the holiday season and close to the new year, people don’t really want to move. But that’s not true; people do need to move, especially at this time of the year. Many corporate relocations happen at the end of the year, and with inventory being so tight, there are lots of buyers in the market looking to take advantage of our low interest rates. Don’t buy the misconception that homes don’t sell in January or February because that’s simply not the case here in central Florida.
