Here’s what we do during the pre-marketing phase of selling your home.

As I previously mentioned, we’re in a major seller’s market here in central Florida, and inventory continues to decrease. Today I'm sharing what happens in our listings' pre-marketing phase. The goal is to create enough interest in a home that we already have people waiting to see it or make an offer when we list it.

Typically, as soon as a seller hires us to sell their house, we begin the pre-marketing phase. One thing we do is reach out to other top real estate agents who have brought buyers to your area; we can see their statistics in our MLS. We’ll let them know another property in that area will be coming to the market soon. We also have a massive pool of buyers waiting for specific types of homes or in certain areas, so we’ll call the ones who may be interested.

The goal of the pre-marketing phase is to create interest in your home.

Additionally, if you’re open to it, we will call around your neighborhood or area and ask your neighbors who they know that’s considering moving, giving them the opportunity to choose their new neighbors. These are just a few of the many things we do to create buzz for your house and generate multiple offers for our clients.

Extra tip: We always recommend putting your property fully on the market, even if you receive an offer in the pre-marketing phase. Another broker or agent could have a buyer for your home that has an even better offer for you.

If you have questions about our pre-marketing phase or anything else, feel free to give us a call or send an email. We would love to help you.
