Here’s why the holiday season is a beneficial time to sell your property.

Since we’re in the middle of the holiday season, the most common question that we’re asked right now is, “Should I list during the holidays?” Thank you to everyone who has reached out to ask us this.

The answer here in central Florida is that there’s never truly a bad time to put your home on the market. We see a dip in sales in autumn and winter, but a the same time, fewer people are listing their houses during those seasons. Due to the lower inventory, you’ll have less competition. December is an excellent month to make a move because many people want to close before the new year so they qualify for the homestead tax exemption. Again, there’s never a bad time to put your property on the market, but some things will change depending on your home’s location, its condition, and the current competition.

If you have questions about selling during the holidays or anything else, please give us a call or send an email. We hope you have a fantastic holiday season.
